It's the middle of the night
Again
When will insomnia finally drive me
Insane
Strange noise outside
Again
Though thankfully this time it's not
The rain
Drip, drop, pitter patter
Clattering off aluminium ladder
Over and over, without end
When will salvation be my friend
Guess I should try to sleep
Again
Hope some pleasant dreams I can
Entertain
