Shake the feeling loose
Pull away from the
Stockade or noose

Turn a blind eye
To it all
Pretend there's no where
To stumble or fall

Turn the tap right off
Not perturbed
By cry or cough

Close it all out
Nary a thought
For ones so close
Or heartstrings fraught

Easy as stopping saying

Just slide away
Open my eyes
On a brand new day
