The Road

I find myself in limbo
The road I've walked is at an end
The path I've trod for many years
Come twist, come turn, come bend

And I don't know where the route
Intends to take me now
It's not here, I fear, will shed a tear
As I recall the vow

That I wrote all those years before
And said so full of pride
And yes it does come before the fall
Lost count of the times I've cried

I'll lift my head, I will, I shall
But may be not today
Feel like I'm just meandering
.........know I've lost my way

And when the road comes calling
A brand new avenue

I'll forget there was me and you
